Overview
Teridion offers Teridion for Enterprise, a public cloud-based WAN service that combines carrier-grade, SLA-backed performance with the scale and agility of the public cloud. Its service is powered by Teridion Curated Routing, a cloud-native routing approach that leverages deep learning to improve WAN, application and SaaS performance (reported improvements of 2X–20X). The company has operated a SaaS offering for three years and says it has seen strong traction among enterprise customers, channel partners, and technology partners since announcing Teridion for Enterprise. Customers cited in the article include Atlassian, Box, Egnyte and Merrill Corp. The company plans to aggressively enter the enterprise market with expanded sales and marketing efforts. Teridion is headquartered in San Francisco with an international office in Petah Tikva, Israel, and has raised a total of $35 million to date. Teridion provides a Global Cloud Network that routes traffic to the best entry point to improve Internet performance for applications such as hosting, file sharing, rich media, advertising, video, web conferencing and gaming. The solution uses proprietary algorithms, a management system and measurement agents to create a real-time congestion map and select optimal paths based on bandwidth, latency and geography. The company announced general availability of the advanced Global Cloud Network and reports it is currently used by more than 15 companies with bandwidth‑demanding applications. Led by founder and CEO Elad Rave, Teridion plans to use new financing to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and grow its team in the US and internationally. Financially, the company closed a $15M Series B that brought total funding to $20M. The financing supports expansion efforts and broader commercial roll-out of its network service.
