Tethis s.r.l. develops novel nanostructured thin layers to apply to tools for environmental monitoring, diagnostics and drug discovery. The company is advancing microFind (tm), a device for detection of genetic aberration using Fluorescent in Situ Hybridization (FISH) technology. Tethis received a capital infusion to complete development of microFind. The firm received a €3m investment from Atlante Ventures, which acquired a 16% stake. Tethis is controlled by Genextra S.p.A., a private biopharmaceutical group headquartered in Milan focused on discovery and development of therapeutics for cancer, age-related and metabolic disorders.
