Tetrous
14930 Ventura Blvd., Suite 325, Sherman Oaks, CALIFORNIA, 91403, United States
Overview
Tetrous develops the EnFix family of allograft implants—100% demineralized bone fiber (DBF)—designed to enhance biologic healing at the enthesis. The company's first offerings, EnFix RC and EnFix TAC, target rotator cuff repair and are built to integrate with existing surgical techniques. Tetrous's core technology originated in spine surgery and has been used in over 150,000 spine implants; the company holds multiple issued patents and an exclusive license to the DBF technology from TheraCell (an ISTO Biologics company). Founded in 2019, Tetrous is expanding its platform into broader sports medicine applications. The company plans to develop further clinical data to demonstrate improved patient outcomes and to extend surgical applications to hip, knee, ankle and elbow procedures. Tetrous recently completed a $6.5M Series A financing to support market penetration, clinical development, and new product offerings.
