tex.tracer offers a SaaS transparency platform that collects verified product-journey data from suppliers to help fashion retailers and brands act on reliable environmental and social data. The platform verifies submissions using time and geolocation stamps, peer-to-peer reviews and blockchain technology. It surfaces insights that support compliance with EU rules such as EPR, CSRD and the Digital Product Passport and helps brands work toward EU Net Zero goals. Founder and CEO Jolanda Kooi, a textile engineer with over 20 years of experience, started the company with co-founder Bart Westerman; the team is majority female. The startup trialled the platform four years ago and has since positioned itself to scale industry-wide transparency. tex.tracer plans to use new funding to automate its business, prepare for international growth, and expand platform data from production into the use-phase to extend product lifetimes.
