Textingly is a text-message management tool for businesses that handles outbound and inbound SMS delivery, contact list management, opt-in controls, and reporting. The platform organizes messaging functionality into "apps" to let businesses add SMS features to services they already use. It launched an App platform that enables two-click integrations, a Live Chat feature for realtime texting with contact management and autoresponders, and Twilio hosting so Twilio-number users can manage SMS via Textingly's interface. The company offers integrations with MailChimp, a WordPress phone-capture widget, and Eventbrite for tickets and reminders, and says more app integrations are coming. Textingly left beta after attracting roughly 6,000 small-business customers. The startup has raised $650K to date from Inspiration Ventures, 500 Startups, Gary Vaynerchuk, and other angel investors.
