Tezi is developing an AI agent to help HR teams find candidates, sift resumes, schedule interviews and send outreach emails as part of an end-to-end recruiting workflow. The startup leverages the latest large language models and has tuned OpenAI and Anthropic models to its hiring requirements. It has trained models on 250 million licensed profiles from data providers to improve matching by skills and criteria set by hiring managers. Tezi launched at the beginning of this year and is rolling out an alpha to 15–20 design customers now, with a wider beta planned later this year. The founders acknowledge humans must stay engaged today and are working to mitigate algorithmic bias by avoiding reliance on historic hiring patterns. The company raised a $9 million seed to fund development toward a generally available product and further product iteration.
