Ahead of TGL’s second season, the team brought on Ilitch Sports + Entertainment to handle data analytics, media strategy, brand development, and overall franchise operations. TGL’s ecosystem is expanding rapidly: a Dallas consortium paid over $70 million for another franchise earlier in 2024, and the league has filed trademarks for “Texas Golf Club” and “Chicago Links Golf Club.” Parent company TMRW Sports carried a $500 million valuation as of mid-2024 and has also filed to launch “WTGL,” a prospective women’s league.
