The Coaching Inn Group operates 12 individually styled coaching inns across the UK from its base in Boston, Lincolnshire. Led by founder and CEO Kevin Charity, the group offers accommodation, food and drink in relaxed settings. It intends to use a new £10m investment from Business Growth Fund to expand its portfolio. The company plans to grow its estate from 12 to 25 properties by March 2019. The £10m investment follows an initial £4.5m investment from BGF in March 2015. The group doubled its EBITDA in the first six months of 2016 and reported a 33% increase in sales.
