Founded in 2000 by CEO Joanne Smith and based in London with an office in Leeds, The Consulting Consortium provides specialist regulatory compliance services to FCA-regulated firms. The firm has advised over 250 financial services clients since 2001, including a number of FTSE 100 and multinational companies. TCC has developed a proprietary risk-management SaaS solution called RecordSure that monitors, records and analyzes near-real-time interactions between financial product sellers and customers to provide transparency, consistent reporting and compliance tools. The company received a £10m equity investment from Business Growth Fund (BGF), which acquired a minority stake and joined the board. Proceeds will be used to build marketing, personnel and infrastructure to support growth of its compliance services and RecordSure platform.
