The CX Academy provides online customer experience courses and university credit-rated qualifications for all staff levels, from directors to frontline employees. It works with companies such as Oracle, Mercedes Benz, Waitrose, Sky, DHL and Lloyds Bank. Founded in 2019 by Michael Killeen and Julian Douglas and supported by Enterprise Ireland, the company employs 11 people. Over the last five years it has trained more than 5,000 practitioners across 1,500 leading brands in over 90 countries. Management says the new funding will support ambitious expansion plans, increased marketing, future course development and the recruitment of five senior executives. The company has been profitable since start-up and currently generates 95% of its turnover abroad.
