The Glimpse Group aggregates and operates eight wholly-owned virtual and augmented reality software and services start-ups under one corporate umbrella. Over the past twelve months, the company has secured more than $2 million in funding, primarily from angel investors, family offices, and its own founders. Management plans to raise an additional $5 million—targeting institutional investors—to accelerate growth in the New York City area and expand into other VR/AR hubs. The firm recently added seasoned technology executive Sharon Rowlands, CEO of ReachLocal, to its Board of Directors, underscoring its commitment to experienced leadership.
