The Graide Network provides an online feedback and grading technology platform that connects K-12 teachers with an on-demand network of remote teaching assistants called "Graiders." Graiders are undergraduate and graduate students who are aspiring educators, writing tutors, and other subject-area specialists. They collaborate virtually with classroom teachers to grade and provide feedback on formative writing assignments, supporting the development of students' writing and critical thinking skills. Led by co-founder and CEO Blair Pircon and COO Liz Nell, the company is now in its second school year and is serving nearly 20,000 students at over 50 schools. The Graide Network raised over $1M in seed financing and plans to use the funding to scale into more schools and accelerate development of its feedback and grading technology.
