The Ivory Company curates home-decor merchandise focused on white and ivory, offering bed, bath and table linens, furniture, tableware and decorative accessories. The site also sells decor gifts and accessories such as figurines, frames, garden stools and vases. The company was founded by e-commerce veteran Shelley Nandkeolyar. It closed a $525K angel round to support startup operations. The capital will be used to test and prototype the concept across the marketing mix and to launch an omni-channel proof of concept as early as March 2013.
