The Joy provides an online marketplace connecting customers, salons, freelance practitioners and advertisers in the wellness and beauty sector. Its app enables customers to book on-demand wellness and beauty treatments at home, at work or in a salon. The company raised an initial $2M seed funding and plans an ICO starting 20 January 2019 through 1 May 2019, offering 2.4 billion tokens with a $17.4M hardcap. The platform will operate on Joycoins, a payment and rewards token used for loyalty, referral programs and bonuses. The Joy will launch the platform in Berlin in Q1 2019, initially rolling out across Germany and Western Europe before targeting the United States, Japan and South Korea. The company was founded by Vladislav Kiselev (CEO), Bogdan Nekhoda (CFO) and Emil Khavizov (CCO).
