The League is a San Francisco-based provider of a dating app targeting busy, hard-working city people. Led by founder and CEO Amanda Bradford, the app emphasizes privacy, user controls and contextual matching. Launched two months earlier in private beta, the platform had already produced more than 20,000 matches and 19 confirmed relationships. The company raised $2.1M in funding from investors including IDG Ventures USA, Sherpa Ventures, Cowboy Ventures and others. The funds will be used to add more features, increase adoption and expand into new cities. The League is hiring to support growth and expansion plans.
