Era is building infrastructure for the emerging world of agent-driven shopping, where AI assistants surface, evaluate and even purchase products on behalf of consumers. The SaaS platform syncs two-ways with merchants’ PIMs/ERPs, analyses SKU-level visibility inside large-language-model answers, and recommends automated content changes to improve ranking in conversational commerce channels. It already plugs into major e-commerce suites such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and Wix, and is connected to key AI discovery surfaces including ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Current go-to-market efforts are running pilot programmes with an initial cohort of brands, while upcoming priorities include expanding to enterprise accounts, scaling the data infrastructure and adding new AI platforms. The founding team, repeat YC alumni Oleksii Sidorov (CEO) and Sergey Drozdkov (CTO), previously built and exited multiple AI and e-commerce ventures, giving them deep domain experience. Although revenue figures were not disclosed, Suggestr, an earlier effort by the team, generated over $500k in incremental sales for customers, illustrating their commercial track record. Era positions itself as indispensable middleware for brands that risk invisibility if their product metadata is not machine-legible to AI agents.
