Founded in 2020, The Padel Club builds and operates padel clubs across the UK, launching its first site in Wilmslow in 2022 and growing to four sites before its 2024 funding. In 2024 the business raised £3.8m (including £1.5m from NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance) to support expansion. The company has secured eight new sites since the investment and plans further openings, with confirmed upcoming venues in Brighton, Cardiff, Chester and Handforth Dean. Leadership emphasizes a community-led approach to introduce more people to padel and create local hubs for the sport. The recently raised capital is being deployed to accelerate rollout, invest in new sites and scale operations.
