The Primal Pantry makes snack bars and an enhanced range of protein bars that each contain 15g of plant-based protein, plus a Double Espresso High Protein Bar with 15g protein and 146mg of caffeine. Founded by nutritionist Suzie Walker and Dominic Maxwell, the business is also led by Sales Director Hash Alsaidi and Head of Marketing Nathan Griffiths. Its bars are sold in over 7,000 UK distribution points, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, The Co-operative and WH Smith Travel. The company raised funds to grow retail distribution and in-store visibility and to drive brand awareness through consumer marketing channels. Planned marketing activity includes social media, PR and sampling. The firm also intends to continue product innovation to reach an increasing number of consumers.
