Overview
The Village Network is a women-led Warsaw-based startup that creates parent-led 'villages'—nanny-shares, micro-nurseries and preschools—based in community hubs. It offers edtech products, an application for running nurseries, preschools and schools, and The Village marketplace. Parents and teachers in the villages participate in The Village Way courses and regularly improve qualifications grounded in nonviolent communication and Reggio Emilia pedagogy. The company aims to improve childhood experiences, support parents and early educators, and foster women’s professional development and gender equity in parenthood and entrepreneurship. Founder Aleksandra Kozera says the goal is to create a global network of villages and to enable multi-dimensional support to open and run villages. The startup has raised €3.4 million to create an all-in-one marketplace and continue building its edtech products and platform.
