Therify aggregates providers and works with employee-provided benefits to connect members to therapists who understand specific cultural, identity, and clinical needs. The platform covers the first few sessions to ease matching and offers group formats to reduce stigma in some communities. It guarantees market-rate pay and direct deposit for providers, and signed up hundreds of providers in the first six months. Co-founders James Edward Murray and CTO Warren Sadler built matching that accounts for identity, therapeutic approach, timing and availability. The company plans to use new funding to build out its provider network and sales channels. Over an 18-month roadmap Therify intends to expand into Canada, Europe and Southeast Asia, noting that international scaling will involve legal and compliance work but that video-based therapy and existing systems should translate.
