Thinksurance is a Frankfurt, Germany–based InsurTech that provides a digital platform for commercial and industrial insurance consultations and policy processes. Its modular technology digitizes the entire consultation workflow from needs analysis to binding, enabling brokers, agents, direct sales and other distribution channels to deliver tailor-made insurance solutions quickly. The company also provides insurers and brokers with product digitalization and comprehensive data and analysis tools to support market-oriented and dynamic product and pricing strategies. Thinksurance has partnered with insurers including Allianz, Axa and Zurich, and more than 50,000 individual brokers and agents have used the platform to consult over 1.5 million customers. Led by CEO Florian Brokamp, the company raised $24M in funding to expand the platform to cover additional aspects of commercial insurance consultation and distribution. The round included lead investors Viewpoint Ventures, M‑Tech Capital and Venture Capital Fonds Segenia Capital, with participation from existing backers Eight Roads Ventures and Columbia Lake Partners. Thinksurance operates a B2B insurance distribution platform that helps digitalize the commercial insurance distribution process by connecting insurers, brokers and businesses. The company works with all major insurance houses and more than 20,000 brokers. It intends to use new funding to scale operations, expand its existing platform and grow into new international markets. Thinksurance raised €13M in a Series B led by Eight Roads Ventures. Founded in 2016 by Florian Brokamp and Christopher Leifeld, the company is based in Frankfurt, Germany. Previous investors include Police Direct, the Hoesch Group, the German Startups Group, Nikolai Dördrechter and Christian Vollmann.
