To date the company has created roughly 2,700 income opportunities across its collection and processing network in Haiti and Honduras. Apparel and accessories brands use Thread’s materials—and the accompanying data and storytelling—to satisfy rising consumer demand for ethical, traceable products. The new capital will allow Thread to expand production capacity and deepen its data and content collection throughout the supply chain, strengthening its value proposition to brand partners. Management also plans to broaden fabric capabilities and increase on-the-ground impact as it scales.
