Threadsy builds an all-in-one web-based communication client — a social stream reader that provides a single interface to retrieve and respond to updates from email, Facebook, Twitter and other services. The company opened its social stream reader to the public last May and was a TechCrunch 50 (2009) finalist. Threadsy's CEO is Rob Goldman, a former eBay and Shopping.com executive. The team announced product updates as recently as September 2010 but has been relatively quiet since. Financially, Threadsy raised a $3 million Series B, bringing total funding to $6.3 million. Competitors include Inbox2, MailSuite and Silentale.
