Three Chord Bourbon is a mid-stage American whiskey blending house founded in 2017 by Neil Giraldo and Ari Sussman. The company offers eight bourbon blends that are sold in 38 states and are stocked by major retail chains including Wegmans, Shoprite, BevMo and Specs, as well as more than 3,000 independently operated spirits outlets. Its distributor network includes RNDC, Empire Merchants, Johnson Brothers and Breakthru Beverage. The brand plans focused 2023 marketing and amplification efforts, including the launch of Giraldo’s podcast and expansion of its Music Ambassadorship program to support music artists at local venues. Three Chord raised approximately $8M in Series A equity financing and has commitments toward a targeted $12.7M overall raise. The company intends to use the funds to expand distribution from 38 states to the entire continental U.S. and select international markets and to further build its presence in existing markets.
