Thrive Smart Systems builds fully wireless irrigation systems whose flagship product, the Thrive EVO™, eliminates the wiring between irrigation controllers and valves. The Thrive EVO™ can communicate reliably up to 200 yards through obstructions and is compatible with industry-standard multi-wire controllers, including Rain Bird and Hunter. By removing the need to trench and bury wires, the system reduces installation time, labor and material costs and lowers maintenance complexity. Thrive has installed more than a thousand units to date, with deployments at Google and Apple campuses as well as schools, universities, churches, city parks and commercial properties. The company plans to launch a cloud-connected LoRa version this year to extend wireless range and remove the need for a physical irrigation controller.
