THYMOX (Laboratoire M2) produces a concentrated, biodegradable, non-toxic disinfectant whose active ingredient is thymol, a botanically derived compound from thyme. The product line includes animal health formulations such as THYMOX HOOF (THYMOX FOOTBATH) and surface disinfectants for institutional and retail markets, and the company also supplies private-label products and ingredients. In 2017 the company announced a $4.6M Series B to support a pivot from technology development to full-scale commercial expansion on three continents. The funds are earmarked to accelerate international commercial expansion in animal health, crop protection and into institutional and retail channels, and to advance a pipeline of botanically derived crop-protection products.
