Tiburio Therapeutics is a Cambridge, MA–based biopharmaceutical company focused on developing treatments for rare neuroendocrine tumors and rare endocrine diseases. Its lead programs are TBR-760 for non-functioning pituitary adenoma (NFPA) and TBR-065 for additional rare endocrine diseases, both licensed from Ipsen. The company intends to advance TBR-760 through human proof-of-concept and to conduct further clinical assessment of TBR-065. Tiburio holds an exclusive worldwide license to both compounds and Ipsen will receive minority ownership as well as development and commercial milestone payments and royalties on sales. Tiburio, led by CEO Abraham N. Ceesay, was launched by Cydan as its third orphan drug company and will be responsible for all future development and commercialization costs for the programs. It raised $31M in Series A financing to fund these activities.
