Ticket Text develops Ticket ABC, a white-label mobile ticketing and venue management solution built with mobile at its core. The platform enables consumers to buy tickets via mobile browsers and apps and offers integrated wireless scanning of mobile and eTickets at multiple points within a venue. Key features include no upfront, annual, or customization fees, client-owned data, an automated refund process, ticket reissue, seat maps, zone pricing, seat statuses and rankings, and consumer seat selection. The product also supports an alternate payment service provider to switch during outages, and includes social promotion tools (Twitter/Facebook), a “Buy Tickets” Facebook button, and embeddable widgets for sites. Current clients include fabric, Pacha, and Bird On The Wire. The company plans to use new capital to expand across Europe and eventually into the U.S.; its total investment to date is just over $1 million.
