TicketForEvent is a London-based B2B online ticketing company with most operations in Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. Its platform aggregates around 90 payment methods and supports interactive seating charts and affiliate marketing integrations. Since launching last year it has sold more than 130,000 tickets for over 1,000 B2B events. The company reports current sales of $5 million and contracts totalling $50 million. It plans to use the new funding to expand into entertainment and sports events, grow its mobile business (including mobile wallet support and apps) and prepare for a wider European push in about a year. Until this round the company had been self-funded and it competes with global players such as Eventbrite, Cvent, Amiando and Ticketfly.
