Tictag is a Singapore-based startup that provides a crowdsourced, gamified platform for data collection, labeling and cleaning where businesses upload datasets for a community of taggers. The platform breaks data-preparation work into bite-sized 5–7-minute tasks with step-by-step workflows and front-end gamification (badges, coins, rewards). Taggers are paid a portion of customer fees and perform activities such as correcting audio transcriptions and cleaning syntax, enabling improved ML model accuracy. Tictag supports multiple data types (audio, text, multimedia) and targets ML teams and businesses that lack scale or resources to prepare large unlabelled datasets. The company is accredited as a Business for Good Social Enterprise Member at raiSE and partners with Autism Association (Singapore), Singtel Future Makers and programs for persons with disabilities. Founders Kevin Quah (CEO), Lee Jin (COO) and Yihang (CTO) previously worked together at a prominent B2B AI startup and bring complementary experience in business development, project management and software engineering. Tictag raised a US$1.3M pre-Series A round.
