TimeTemp
C.J. Hambros plass 2C, Oslo, 0164
Overview
TimeTemp develops, manufactures and supplies intelligent time‑and‑temperature indicators based on non‑toxic chemical liquids that change color according to exposure. Its indicators target products whose quality and lifespan depend on storage conditions or maturity/ageing, providing benefits across the value chain. The technology aims to help producers and retailers reduce waste and improve focus on quality and food safety, and to help consumers extend the lifespan of purchased food. TimeTemp was established in 2001 as a spin‑off from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and remains based on the university campus with offices, laboratory and production facilities. One of its owners is Scatec, the investment company of Alf Bjørseth.
