Tinybeans is a Sidney, Australia-based social network built to help families raise their children and share photos privately and securely. Co-founded in 2012 by Eddie Geller, Stephen O'Young and Sarah-Jane Kurtini, the service focuses on private photo-sharing and family engagement. It currently has 500,000 users and aimed to reach 1 million by the end of 2014. The company plans to use the new capital for global expansion, with plans to set up operations in 2015 in the US—its biggest market—followed by China and Southeast Asia. Tinybeans also intends to invest in product development to improve the customer experience. Backers include high net worth private investors.
