TinyStep operates a parenting service that provides information, advice and a social network covering pregnancy, baby and toddler stages, including a "mums-only" private segment. The site currently sees around 500,000 monthly visitors and about 25,000–30,000 users active on its Android app and mobile website; an iOS app is due in the next few weeks. The company monetizes by charging brands for pages with additional fees based on message volume, audience reached and boosting, and is working to formalize pricing into a self-service model. Founder Suhail Abidi said the business has about 30 employees and will use the new funding to hire more staff—particularly on the tech side—and raise marketing spend to grow audience. TinyStep plans to increase content creation to raise engagement and attract new users through content marketing. There is no immediate plan to integrate e-commerce, though Flipkart would be among potential partners considered in the future.
