TipTip operates a creator marketplace that helps local chefs, musicians and other creators grow followers and sell digital content, live sessions and one-on-one interactions. The platform provides end-to-end tools including content management, distribution, livestreaming, KYC, payment systems and scheduling, and it takes a cut from every sale. TipTip also recruits promoters who act as affiliates/resellers to help creators sell to their own communities. The startup launched its platform in July and reports revenue has grown 20x since October; creators earn more than $200 on average within 30 days of activity. TipTip currently has 2,500 creators and over 30,000 users, with a presence in 40 Indonesian cities. It aims to recruit more than 30,000 creators and 300,000 users by early next year and plans to expand its offline/online presence into 250 cities and towns across Indonesia by mid next year.
