Founded in 2015 in Shenzhen, Tianshen Medical focuses on single-sample fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers (ACCRE series) and more than 100 supporting IVD reagents. The company operates independent instrument and reagent R&D centers and production facilities, and its product portfolio covers cardiac markers, inflammation, anemia, bone metabolism, sex hormones, and thyroid function. Tianshen completed ISO13485 certification in 2018 and by the end of 2019 had obtained over 30 CE certifications and 14 NMPA registrations. Prior to the latest round the company had raised over RMB 52 million in earlier financing rounds. After closing an RMB 80 million B round, Tianshen plans to accelerate R&D, scale production and quality control for its single-sample chemiluminescence products, and build out a global marketing and sales system. Management aims to become a leading domestic POCT chemiluminescence technology provider within 3–5 years, leveraging trends toward domestic substitution and expanded grassroots medical services.
