Titan Fitness owns and operates 15 Fitness Connection health clubs in the greater Raleigh, North Carolina area; Greenville, North Carolina; Reno, Nevada; and Houston, Texas. The company completed a $4.6 million equity offering raised from three investors. Named backers include WestView Capital Partners, a $500 million private equity fund based in Boston, and National City Equity Partners, a Cleveland-based private equity fund. Titan was established by former Gold's Gym International executives, franchisees and a former PricewaterhouseCoopers director to build, acquire and operate health clubs. Titan's executives collectively have more than 70 years of direct experience in the fitness industry.
