Titan Gaming has built the Titan Platform to enable skill-based matchmaking, tournaments and points- or cash-based competitions for gaming companies and content sites. The company says the platform leverages gamers' competitive inclinations to help partners and developers increase lifetime value. Titan has invested over 100,000 hours in development and employs a team of 24 engineers working on the platform. The product is scheduled to go live with initial customers in July. Financially, Titan announced a $1 million raise from a group of prominent angel investors. Management changes accompanying the round include the appointment of John Maffei as CEO and Lisa Serwin as COO while founders Francisco Diaz-Mitoma and Mark Donovan remain focused on technical and developer evangelism roles.
