TIXEL is a Hannover-based spin-off of Thomson focused on accelerating and stabilizing data transfers across wide area networks. Its core product, TIXstream, leverages the patented Reliable WAN Transfer Protocol (RWTP) to fully utilize 1 Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s Ethernet links, achieving transfer speeds of roughly 4 Gbit/s.
