TiZR is a social streaming network whose iPhone app lets users live-stream video publicly or to private audiences. Broadcasts are largely ephemeral: recordings remain accessible for only 20 minutes after a stream, with each "like" extending the archive by 10 seconds. The app includes "TiZR Channels," professional, subscribable accounts that can be merged with Facebook and Twitter. TiZR has gained traction among notable DJs and in the EDM community, a dynamic that helped attract investment from EDM label Spinnin’ Records. The company raised $500,000 in a round led by Spinnin’ Records at an implied pre-money valuation of roughly $11 million.
