TKEN is a new social product targeting TK subculture groups and was developed by 一个小目标网络科技（海南）有限公司 with operational support from the niche community Ji'ao. The product has a working prototype and a reported sizable base of seed users. Some of TKEN's development work was done by former MSN Messenger staff, and its operations will be assisted by Ji'ao's team. The company plans to use the new funding for mid-term research and development and for operations. The parent/company name includes Hainan and it has obtained EDI and ICP operating permits from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Ji'ao, the initiator of the parent company, was founded in 2020 and grew from a two-person start to a 30+ person operations team in about four years, acting as a traffic entry that will support TKEN's growth. Investors cited the prototype, the seed user base, and a clear monetization path as the reasons for backing TKEN and expressed optimism about its potential.
