tl;dv builds a browser extension for video platforms (eg. Zoom, Google Meet) that lets users record meetings, generate transcripts, timestamp key moments, and create short video snippets from transcripts. The product integrates with productivity tools such as Slack, Notion and CRMs like HubSpot and Pipedrive, and offers built-in transcript translations in more than twenty languages. It launched in summer 2021 after being founded in winter 2020 and operates a freemium model: roughly 300 paying customers (mostly start-ups and SMEs) and “thousands” of free users, with about 95% of users currently on the free tier. The company stores customer data on AWS with 256-bit encryption in transit; end-to-end encryption is on the short-term roadmap. Planned product work includes a powerful search across recordings, deeper integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and GSuite, folder-based meeting grouping, and other feature enhancements.
