Tombot develops lifelike, fully autonomous robotic companion animals designed to provide comfort and emotional support for older adults and individuals with dementia, anxiety, autism, PTSD, or loneliness. Its flagship product, Jennie, mimics the movements and responses of an 8–10 week-old puppy and has attracted more than 23,000 pre-order and waitlist customers. Jennie first emerged in the marketplace in early 2024 and has generated interest from consumers, healthcare providers, senior living organizations, and caregiving communities. The company is based in Santa Clarita, California, and is preparing for a planned Fall 2026 customer launch. Tombot recently raised $7 million in a Series A3 round to scale manufacturing, expand operations, accelerate commercialization, and expand its companion robotics product line.
