Toonimo provides customizable animated characters that walk website visitors through pages, point out important parts, and explain tricky bits. Businesses can customize characters' appearance, set triggers for when they appear, and write the script for what they say. Customers add Toonimo to sites with a single line of code. The platform can A/B test different scripts and animation versions and automatically deliver the best-performing variant, and it will sometimes omit animation if that performs better. Toonimo says it plans to add more personalization over time and to become "the multimedia layer" for sites to add and test different types of content beyond animation. The company announced $2.5 million in funding.
