Led by CEO Timm Jessen, Topas intends to use funds to accelerate the platform and advance product development to proof-of-concept in multiple autoimmune and inflammatory indications, including multiple sclerosis. The company anticipates advancing its initial multiple sclerosis program into clinical development in 2017. Topas is based in Hamburg, Germany. In March 2016 it completed a €14m Series A financing to support these plans.
