Topography Health builds a full-stack, white-glove clinical trials product and service that identifies, trains, and supports community physicians to run research in their practices. Its digital workflow technology centralizes clinical data and reduces process friction so physicians can manage trials more efficiently. The company’s data-science platform analyzes patient records to help physicians recommend and personalize studies for diverse patient populations often excluded from trials. Topography also handles practice-level business and administrative tasks, recommends high-uptake studies, recruits patients, and hires and manages research staff. It is currently in beta with several community physicians and has an initial focus on metabolic disease while actively recruiting physician investigators nationally. The company recently raised funding (see deal notes) to scale its national network of community physician sites.
