Toppersnotes is a test-prep platform founded in 2015 by IIT Bombay alumni Ayush Agarwal, Devendra Dhaka, and Arpit Bansal that provides students with curated sets of books and physical notes compiled by toppers. The product combines physical notes with a tech-based app and the startup claims more than 300,000 registered aspirants, serving 70+ exams including UPSC, GATE, NEET, IIT, SSC, BANK and state-level government tests. The company targets students in tier II and tier III towns and aims to provide learning at roughly one-tenth the fees of coaching institutes. It plans to scale a phygital solution in the next six months and add personalised content delivery, enhanced performance tracking, personalised revision planners and learning schedules using AI/ML and NLP on top of structured student learning data. The announced funding will be used to acquire talent, boost technology, and expand presence across multiple exams. Toppersnotes positions itself as an affordable, technology-driven alternative to traditional coaching for underserved Bharat markets.
