Overview
Toqio is a fintech SaaS platform that enables companies to create and launch fully branded banking and finance solutions as apps or on the web in days through its extensible platform and marketplace. The platform can be extended with customers' fintech products and connects to a marketplace of partners, including Clear.Bank, Currencycloud, Modulr, and Railsr. Founded in 2019 by Eduardo Martinez and Michael Galvin, Toqio has offices in London, Madrid, and Nairobi and grew its headcount to over 100 in the past year. The company removes the need to build and manage complex software, allowing businesses (not just banks) to launch embedded finance solutions rapidly. Toqio plans to use the new funding to expand throughout Europe, including France and Germany, and has made senior appointments in London and Madrid. The financing includes an €18.7M Series A and a €1.3M grant from Spain’s Centre for the Growth of Industrial Technology (CDTI). Toqio is a white-label digital finance SaaS platform that enables businesses and brands to launch fintech products quickly. Its core product provides pre-built modules for digital banking, card programs, financing solutions, and a marketplace that customers can assemble into applications. The company sells to financial institutions, fintech startups, banks, and corporate brands and already counts customers across Europe, including Crealsa, Wamo, and Just Cash Flow. Headquartered in London and Madrid, Toqio positions itself as an end-to-end, plug-and-play enabler for embedded finance. The founders, Eduardo Martínez and Michael Galvin, previously built small-business SaaS startup Geniac, which was acquired by Grant Thornton. Toqio recently closed a €8M ($9.4M) seed round to accelerate product development and go-to-market expansion.
