Traace helps companies measure, monitor and reduce carbon emissions by collecting operational data across an organisation's value chain, including purchasing, logistics, energy, waste and transport. After analyzing this data, it produces bespoke action plans and a catalogue of steps tailored to corporate strategy and emission-reduction objectives. The product can break down a global corporation's carbon footprint by country or business unit to provide realistic, locally implementable recommendations. Founded in 2020 and based in Paris, Traace reports working with approximately 30 clients, including Sodexo, Siemens, Paul, SES‑Imagotag and the French Development Agency. It raised €2.5 million in seed funding led by Orange Ventures with participation from The Arché‑Gruppe family office and undisclosed investors. Traace plans to use the investment to strengthen its sales and technical teams as it seeks a larger client base in France and across Europe.
