Trace Midstream Partners is a Houston-based midstream firm that develops custom midstream solutions including natural gas gathering, treating and dehydration facilities. The company is initially focused on the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas following a long-term, fee-based agreement with Vitruvian Exploration IV. Vitruvian has dedicated over 130,000 acres in Webb, La Salle and McMullen counties to Trace under that agreement. Trace has commenced phased construction of a natural gas gathering system and related treating/dehydration infrastructure tied to Vitruvian’s development schedule. The firm plans to pursue third-party midstream opportunities more broadly across the region.
