Tracour is developing a web-based product that tracks financial ratings information in real time and frames past ratings data in historical context to identify which analyst groups most influence a given stock. The service will preload years of historical data rather than starting from scratch. The startup is a two-person, BizSpark-backed firm led by co-founder and CEO Brad Sams, with co-founder Braeden Petruk. The team plans to charge for the product on a subscription basis and expects to enter a beta period in July. The interface is still a work in progress, though a widget demo showing rating impact on Microsoft has been produced. The company aims to highlight consistently poor raters by ranking analysts and showing their market impact.
